Glossybox Karen Millen London Fashion Week September 2014

Karen Millen

My Glossybox has Arrived!!!

When i saw a spoiler telling us that Fashion designer Karen Millen was collaborating with Glossybox i thought ”WOW” we are in for a treat

well was we…..

To be honest when it comes to boxes like these i just cant help myself, i get far too overly excited and them Bam! all my expectations go out the window

Although i do love the box design its a rather lovely box and its one im going to keep

but as for the contents i expected a little more i suppose

Ive been with Glossybox for around 2 years on and off but This past year ive stuck solid and because of this i was treated to a Mini Green & Blacks Organic Dark Chocolate Bar

Also there’s a spoiler for next Months box this will be at the end of the Blog

Ok enough of me blabbing, onto the box

Glossybox has created a limited edition London Fashion Week box in collaboration with Karen Millen

Printed with a London skyline sketch by Karen Millen’s in house illustrator, the box contain an edit of miniature products including L’Oréal Mythic Hair Mask and Oil, Origins Anti-Aging Serum, Nails inc. Top Coat, Model Co. Brow Gel and Skin Pep enzyme peel

I did not get the Origins sample as many other Subscribers got this in their box today,  but really wished i did, its something ive seen around and never really tried

With 2 full size products this month and the rest samples

Glossybox cost £10.00 + £3.25 (Delivery Royal Mail)

With a guarantee value of £44 My box value totaled too around £46.00

Products i got are

* MODEL CO More Brows Fibre Gel Full Size 3.5ml £14.95

* L’Oreal PROFESSIONEL Mythic Oil (Sample Size) 45ml Full size 125ml £15.95

* SKINPEP Enzyme and Acid Peel  2x (Sample Sachet 3.5ml)  Full Size £89.99 180ml

* SKINPEP Peeling Gel (Sample Sachet 2ml) Full Size £44.99 15ml

* NAILS INC Westminster Bridge Matte Top Coat Full Size 10ml £12.00

* ULTRASUN UK family spf30 (Sample Size 15ml) Full Size 100ml £19.00

The last item im truly gutted with, its a silly sample of sun lotion. Ive had soo many this summer and whilst we are going into autumn/Winter i find this a appalling sample to receive

it doesn’t match up to the other samples and i much would rather the Origins Sample that nearly most of other Subscribers got

The Box design is amazing its a super Sleek Matte Cover box with a gorgeous Design of the London Attractions

Ok For Glossybox October Spoiler, Next Month Glossybox goes colour crazy, They have created an Andy Warhol Inspired Collectors Edition POP Art Available in Four Eye catching Colours

And one product that all Subscribers will get is Nuxe Masque Worth £19.50

So Im quiet excited for that but i just hope i dont get my expectation too high like i did for this months box but who knows it might just be an amazing box!

  1. The packaging on this box is gorgeous! Glossybox always pegged me as one of those boxes thats “pretty to look at without much depth,” if that makes any sense. The Andy Warhol one sounds amazing! Here’s hoping that masque isn’t the only good thing in there. :/

    1. tell me me about it, ive stuck with Glossybox for such a long time and ive only seem to have had 4 amazing boxes out of the whole year. Im really hoping next Month box is going to be a really good box, because its actually France box atm and they had got a Nars item in their box. eeek!! 😀

    1. Glossybox has to be the only beauty box ive really stayed with for so long plus i like how we can collect points in return for a free box. So this months box didnt cost me a penny. Glossybox is a pretty alright i love their limited edition designs on their boxes and i really cnt wait for next months pop art inspired x
